“Free food” - don’t we all like to hear these words? Although bringing in a box of donuts or bag of cookies to share in the office is a great gesture to show appreciation to your employees and coworkers, it’s not always the healthiest approach. Temptation is man/woman’s greatest enemy and for most people, if food is there, they will want to eat it. Next time you are faced with a break room full of goodies, step outside and get some air or go on a short walk before indulging in a not-so-good-for-you snack. Or, keep healthy options on hand that satisfy as well as keep you energized.
